The Youghiogheny River Trail is a jewel of the Appalachians. This trail is an old railroad track system turned into a hiking and biking trail. These tracks once supplied and transported the heart of the Allegheny region with goods to and from citizens in Ohiopyle to the rest of the surrounding area. Now it echo's the memories with a restored train station and photographs of the past located at various stops along the trail. This is a great way to spend the day.
